Probably the worst Marriott experience I've ever had. Some of the issues: -Musty smell throughout the whole hotel -Generally dirty everywhere -Window AC unit next to the bed, central room ac did not work. That rattled like hell (couldn't sleep) and barely cooled the bedroom and did not cool the other room at all. -Blackout curtains were shredded in the bedroom and partially missing in the other room. I have pictures. -Mold in the bathroom -Vanity sink counter was so low i could barely bend over enough to use it. came up to my middle thigh, and I'm 5'9". -There was 1 remote for 2 tv's in 2 different room. -Carpet was disgusting. -Complained about all of this at checkout and expected they might at least offer me some points. NOPE! -Absolutely horrible.

DONT DONT DONT stay here. I never knew I would have to start reviewing Marriott's reviews prior to picking one. To start when you walk in you are hit with a horrendous chemical smell. My room was on the Marijuana floor I guess because each night I had to roll a towel in front of my door to prevent large amounts of the smell from coming in. The room was filthy with dog hair and hair all over the bathroom. The breakfast was sub par. Tv's are really small for the room. Place is OLD and DATED. I would never stay here again and I will have to start checking review's for Marriott (cant believe I have to) before I book. I I was Marriott I would be embarrassed that this is one of the properties. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

No soap for the bathroom sink. Furniture was heavily used, couch cushions were collapsed. Bed was comfortable, but had very small pillows. We didn't try the free breakfast. There were plants growing in the gutters.

Where do I start with my experience at the Residence Inn in Carmel? I checked in on Monday, June 22, for what was originally scheduled to be a nine-night stay. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the beginning. After my first night, my toilet stopped working properly. I reported the issue to the front desk not once, but twice. Later, I was told that maintenance had come by but didn’t enter because no one answered the door. Since I was staying in the room and had requested the repair, it was frustrating that they didn’t make another attempt or coordinate a time with me. After waiting about 30 minutes at the front desk, the associate—who was very courteous and genuinely tried to help—ended up giving me a plunger. I had to unclog the toilet myself. The following day, I brought dry cleaning to the front desk after following the instructions provided in the room. There was a dry-cleaning bag, a completed service slip to scan, and information on the refrigerator indicating the service was available. My clothes sat at the front desk for about an hour before two associates finally realized that this hotel doesn’t actually offer dry-cleaning service. It was frustrating bec

Not the newest hotel in the area, and a little updating would make it even better, but the 4 days I stayed there were just fine. The breakfast was quite sufficient with waffles, eggs, hash browns, cereals, bagels, etc. The location is quiet, and everything in the room was functional. The check-in clerk was polite and informative, the room refresh happened as scheduled, and employees were pleasant and courteous. This Residence Inn was just fine to stay in - not luxury, but also not a dump.
